South Platte Youth Football League

SPYFL is for Kids in Grades 1st - 6th and grades are determined by the upcoming school year.

Flag Football - 1st & 2nd    Tackle Football - 3rd thru 6th 

REGISTRATION: Registration times will be held throughout the summer. Times will be announced on this website and our Facebook page.  For Tackle Football, all players must be present at registrations to be weighed and sized.  Late registrations may be accepted but a $25.00 late fee may be required.

FEES: Registration fees for Flag are $40.00 per participant and Tackle is $140.00.  (this includes a jersey and  $10,000.00 supplemental medical insurance coverage while at practice and games.)

GAMES: Games are played on Saturdays at the Sterling Middle and High School fields beginning the first Saturday after Labor Day in September and ending approximately the middle of October. Practices will start approximately two weeks before the first game.

EQUIPMENT:  For Tackle Football, SPYFL will furnish a NOCSAE approved helmet, shoulder pads, pants with pads, and a mouth guard. Mouth guards must be worn during all practices and games.

PHYSICALS: Physicals are suggested but not required
